Task 11 - Hotpotatoes activities "The Blues are still Blue" - The Blues' Cloze

Hot Potatoes is a very interesting and useful tool to create interactive and funny activities with our students.
In this case, we are going to practice their listening skills through a song. We have chosen "The Blues are still Blue" from the magnificent group Belle and Sebastian . Yes. I know the chances of a 4th of ESO student knowing this group is basically inexistent. However, life would be very boring if we don't take some risks...
This is a nice song because it mixes vocabulary they know with new, and more difficult words and expressions that they would probably don't know. Our Hot Potatoes has been created for a A2 4th of ESO student.

As this is a long song, and don't want to make this exercise boring, The first exercise, the JCloze is dealing with the first part of the song.

We are going to provide our students with the videoclip of the song (at least at ther very beginning...we have prepared a little surprise for them):

The Blues are still Blue

The Blues are still Blue
