Task 17 CLIL e) Create a Glogster

Task 16 CLIL d) Create an ESL video

In this ESL video our students could be able to discover how influential (even decisive) was Propaganda during WWI at the same time that they are able to practice their listening skills. As this is a unit addressed to 4th of ESO students, we can use it with them. On the other hand, the level of spoken English is adequate to our students due it is not-so-difficult and, at the same time, no so easy that results boring.

You can try the quiz here!

Task 15 CLIL c) Create a webquest

Task 14 CLIL b) Publish your materials in issuu

As I am not able to create on time my didactic unit, I have decided to publish my Practicum 2 report. to upload them to Issu. I know the activity is not complete but I think it is a way to understand how Issu works.

Task 13 CLIL a) CLIL Template

I have chosen to work in a Didactic Unit on The World War I for Ciencias Sociales subject on 4th of ESO. I find particularly interesting to work with History in English classes because it is motivating tool to make our students involved in the process of learning.
With the template provided by http://www.isabelperez.com/clil/ we have created our own scheme for a better preparation on the subject. This is a very useful tool to create materials and to help the teacher to have a clearer map mind of what, why, how and to whom we are teaching, and, in this sense, being able to create interesting and useful materials that help our students to learn the History and the Language.
This is the template I have created:

Task 12 - Create a Web Page

I love the idea of using a web page in order to share videos, resources, and ideas with students. In this case I used www.webs.com and I enjoy it because it was much easier that I thought.
I would use this website with students of 1st or 2nd of ESO as the design is quite childish. At the beginning I thought that creating a webpage was definitely not for me, but I think the possiblities are infinite. And of course...sharing is caring!
The Web page is called Gobblefunk! and, as it is explained in the site it is a word use for the vocabulary that Roal Dahl invented when words just don't have the right meaning. My idea is to combine literature and English and to share interesting resources with them.
Feel free to have a look!: http://gobblefunk.webs.com/

Task 11 - Hotpotatoes activities "The Blues are still Blue" - The Blues' Cross

As this is our last Hot Potatoe exercise, and at this point the students would probably are singing the chorus... we are going to show them this wonderful Lip Dub that a Spanish IES prepared by a English teache in collaboration with all departments and students. Honestly, it gives me goosebumps hearing such young students singing Belle and Sebastien out loud!  The Blues'Cross
